ICSE Research Track Papers Due 6 September
LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 20 August, 2009 – The deadline is approaching to submit papers for the prestigious research track at the 32nd International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE), set for 2-8 May, 2010, in Cape Town, South Africa.
Co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society, ICSE is the premier forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, results, experiences, and concerns in the software engineering field.
In keeping with ICSE’s first appearance in Africa, the theme of the conference is “New Horizons.” New challenges are facing the software engineering community, from new hardware platforms, increased software complexity, and more demanding safety and dependability requirements, to major global issues such as the environment and the economic downturn. The conference aims to provide a forum to discuss and report on new challenges in software engineering that will advance its principles and practice.
Abstracts are due 1 September, 2009 in the technical/research track and papers are due on 6 September, 2009. Visit the ICSE Website for deadlines to submit papers for other tracks, including:
• Software engineering education,
• Software engineering in practice, and
• New and emerging results.
Including a conference, technical tutorials and workshops, demonstrations, an exhibition, and social functions, ICSE 2010 will provide an ideal opportunity to learn and network with likeminded colleagues from around the world.
Jeff Kramer and Judith Bishop will serve as general chairs and Prem Devanbu and Sebastian Uchitel as program chairs.
