NOMINATION FORM FOR THE IEEE COMPUTER SOCIETY PRESIDENT-ELECT
Position Responsibilities Summary: Three-year commitment as President-Elect (2014), President (2015) and Past President (2016). Must hold member grade or higher in the IEEE and have been a Society member for the preceding three years.
The President serves as the chief elected officer of the IEEE Computer Society and represents the entire membership. The President provides leadership and direction for officers and Society programs.
As 2014 President-Elect, the individual will serve as Chair, Constitution and Bylaws Committee and Chair, Nominations Committee. As 2015 President, the individual will chair the Board of Governors and the Executive Committee. The president is also a voting member of the IEEE Technical Activities Board. As 2016 Past President, the individual will chair the Intersociety Cooperation Committee and the Nominations Committee. Further information is available here.
