Skillsoft (TechLeader OnLine) FAQs
A. Only Computer Society members have access to our TechLeader OnLine resources (you can join today at www.computer.org/membership ). To access an online course or book, go to www.computer.org/portal/web/e-learning/knowledge-centers and click on "Log in now." You will then need to enter your Username and Password to access the TechLeader OnLine.
A. Be sure you have logged into your IEEE Account with your Username and Password. If you experience a technical problem, please contact our Customer Service team at email@example.com
A. Once you are logged in, click on "KnowledgeCenter" and a dropdown menu will show you the 16 KnowledgeCenters available to you. Select the desired KnowledgeCenter by clicking on the name of that KnowledgeCenter. The KnowledgeCenter you selected will open up in a new browser window. Each KnowledgeCenter has the same general layout and content, though there are some features that are specific to the different KnowledgeCenter content areas.
A. Begin by viewing the tour of the KnowledgeCenter, under the About page. Click About in the navigation bar, located in the upper right of the KnowledgeCenter page. The About page will pop up in a new window.
Click on tour, located just below the bulleted content list. Each tour is approximately 5-7 minutes and is customized to the particular KnowledgeCenter. Be sure your sound is turned on before launching the tour.
You can navigate the KnowledgeCenter just like a normal Web page. Click on the links for content that is of interest to you. Some content will open in a new window; other areas will be contained within the main KnowledgeCenter window.
A. KnowledgeCenters are refreshed on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Friday of each month. You will not see changes in the Knowledge Centers until the following Tuesday when they have been fully deployed. The list below outlines the monthly refresh rotation.

A. Connect with the Experts provides the ability to chat online or email an expert who is certified in the subject matter. This resource is available in select KnowledgeCenters such as IT Security and Project Management.
