Several researches related to mobile grid, usually, do not have features such as tasks submission and monitoring facilities in a automated and coordinated manner, which these tasks work together to solve a single problem. This article presents an architecture that employs the workflow concept for providing automated and coordinated features for executing applications in grid configurations. The architecture, coined as SuMMIT, enabled to consume less battery energy of mobile devices for submitting and monitoring several tasks in comparison with some related works. In addition, the SuMMIT environment provides an execution flow adjustment, in case of disconnection, mat- ching requirements of submitted application and options defined by the user. Therefore, our architecture guarantees consistency of this execution flow in a personalized way for the mobile user. The SuMMIT also has adapted characte- ristics according to some limitations and problems found in devices. Keywords: Mobile grid, workflow, disconnection, ap- plications submission and monitoring
