16th IEEE International Workshops on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE 2007)
Enabling Collaborative eHealth through Triplespace Computing
Paris, France
June 18-June 20
ISBN: 0-7695-2879-1
The design and promotion of electronic patient sum- maries as an instrument to facilitate the pervasive delivery of healthcare is emerging as a key technology in eHealth solutions. From the technical point of view this requires powerful middleware systems supporting interoperability, multi-lingualism, security and patient privacy. In this pa- per we present a semantic coordination model and describe how it can be used to support pervasive access to electronic patient summaries.1
