Lifecycle management of high-complexity processes like maintenance and repair processes in the automotive, aircraft, or robot industries are interesting scenarios for the usage of Web services. A major issue is the time consuming and expensive manual execution of maintenance procedures. The guidance of these procedures with computer systems can reduce time and expenses. Since maintenance procedures often involve several parties a communication technology with well-defined interfaces is required. Web service based systems meet this demand. But maintenance companies are often over-challenged with the creation of Web services based maintenance systems. This paper presents an ongoing research work about integration of hard- & software components for maintenance scenarios with the platform of the ITEA LOMS project to later use the easy service creation for maintenance scenarios. The integration is demonstrated on the basis of a maintenance system for autonomous robots and future research topics are are shown.
