This paper presents an efficient tree-based query protocol for tag identification in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems. Instead of reducing collisions, our proposed protocol adequately utilizes the advantage of signal collision to fast identify numerous tags simultaneously. From the system efficiency point of view, the performance evaluation shows our proposed protocol achieves almost 200% system efficiency in terms of query times.
