In this paper, we discuss the design of a continuous-time biquadratic filter for hearing aid application using CMOS Current Conveyors based Translinear loop. It has the capability of amplifying as well as attenuating the signals of any desired frequency band in the audio range. The proposed circuit has been realized using purely current-mode approach. Electronic tuning of the filter parameters is being done by the bias current sources. This filter in the log-domain operates at low voltage and consumes very low power.
