Electronic commerce on the Internet receives much attention now. The workflow management is regarded as an effective mechanism for managing those business processes behind the electronic commerce. However, today's workflow management model has many drawbacks in this field. This paper gives a novel workflow management model based on mobile agents for Internet electronic commerce. In addition, its advantages are presented.
