Performing more sophisticated manufacturing task on Manufacturing Grid (MG) demands increased level of control over manufacturing services. We present a SLA-aware (Service Level Agreement) Manufacturing Grid Resource Management Architecture to address this challenge. Of this architecture, Resource Scheduler module allows a SLA to be negotiated between manufacturing resource provider and consumer to guarantee the level of provided manufacturing capability, and Resource Co- Reservation module assures necessary manufacturing resources are available when required; furthermore, the approach of Manufacturing Resource Encapsulation (MRE) makes it possible to combine manufacturing resources span multiple manufacturing grid domains to provide the manufacturing capability required by submitted manufacturing task.
