CARDAMOM is an enterprise middleware for next generation mission and safety critical systems which is being developed by AMS and THALES for supporting next generation Air Traffic Control, Combat Management, and Airborne systems. This paper describes the core principles behind CARDAMOM and provides an overview of the services it provides.
