Here we present NekoStat, an extension to the Neko tool. Neko is a Java framework that permits rapid prototyping and qualitative analysis of distributed applications, that can be exercised both on real networks and on simulated ones. In order to enlarge the spectrum of V&V activities we realized an extension to standard Neko, called NekoStat. The extension permits to obtain quantitative evaluations of distributed systems: a unique code can be exercised and the same supports can be used to make both simulative and experimental analysis.
