Third IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications Workshops (PERCOMW'05) Evaluating Routing-Related Energy Expenditure in Sensor Networks Kauai Island, Hawaii March 08-March 12 ISBN: 0-7695-2300-5
The main contribution of this work is to investigate the energy expended per sensor for routing in massively-deployed sensor networks, assuming an arbitrary power decay factor α with 2 ≤ α. We also show how to design coronas to optimize the per-routing-path energy expenditure.
