Lots of adaptation technics have been proposed these latest years to tackle the dynamic requirements and constraints of the future applications of the mobile Internet. Providing efficient solutions requires handling of adaptability not only at the behavioral level, but also at the architectural level. These solutions may be performed at different levels of the communication stack. A major difficulty, without generic solution at the current time, is to ensure coherency of the adaptation choices, both within and between the adaptation levels. This paper proposes models providing adaptability actions at the architectural level. The proposed approach is illustrated through a case study dealing with military emergency operations.
