While tourists have a variety of needs for information to make decisions about their excursions in sightseeing areas, it is very important to identify the causal relationship between their excursion patterns and the information they obtain. The relationship of information usage with excursion behavior was confirmed using the structural equation model: information usage at the scheduling stage has an impact on tourists? individual cognition of the sightseeing area, tourists? individual cognition affects information usage at the excursion stage, and information usage at the excursion stage affects behavior during excursions. Therefore, modeling of the excursion behavior should consider the relationships mentioned above.
