Dermi: A New Distributed Hash Table-Based Middleware Framework May/June 2004 (vol. 8 no. 3) pp. 74-84
DERMI is P2P decentralized event-based object middleware built on top of a structured overlay network, which provides an event notification service that DERMI uses as its principal building block. DERMI makes three innovative contributions: P2P call abstractions, distributed interception, and a decentralized object location service. Developers can use these three pillars to build a wide variety of global-scale distributed applications.
