CirculaFloor
January/February 2005 (vol. 25 no. 1)
pp. 64-67
CirculaFloor is a locomotion interface that uses a set of movable tiles. The movable tiles employ a holonomic mechanism that achieves omnidirectional motion. Circulation of the tiles enables the user to walk in a virtual environment while his or her position is maintained. The user can walk in any chosen direction in the virtual environment.
