This paper presents a 3D graphics rendering algorithm for photo realistic ray tracing operating over a network of personal computers. The implementation incorporates partitioning methodologies for both memory and workload to achieve efficient execution on a distributed personal computer, PC, network. Experimental results that compare algorithm efficiency in dual processor machines and TCP/IP networks with respect to execution on a single processor are discussed.
