In the field, a wearable computer could have the ability to act as a communications hub in addition to displaying live, shared strategic information for a particular operation. Using a wearable in the field without having a negative effect on the user is a significant and interesting challenge that is shared by many application areas of wearable technologies. In this work we identify. "Minimal Interface" requirements, and present ideas, such as the use of pie menus, to try and develop a simple interface that can be used with only three buttons, enhancing and reducing the burden on limited communication channels.
