We present an experimental context-aware application that provides context depended information to the visitors of a museum. The application combines the productivity of the Java platform with the universal connectivity of Bluetooth wireless technology. We present our first experiences using Bluetooth and Java technology in ubiquituos. We describe the overall architecture and detail the implementation steps taken to create our Bluetooth and Java based context-aware application. Finally we run some initial experiments in a small test-bed to evaluate the proposal performance and behaviour.
