Relation between Depth of Inheritance Tree and Number of Methods to Test

Depth of inheritance tree (DIT) is considered as a factorinfluencing the cost of testing. Test is supposed to be moreexpensive if DIT is high. This paper relates the analysis ofDIT with respect to the number of methods to test in eachclass. Our study based on more than 1700 classes from 6Java applications.
