Semantic Web Service (SWS) ontologies and tools are used in a generic fashion that is supposed to cover all different application domains. As such they have not supported until now the expression of domain specific semantics. However, the adoption of SWS in different domains, i.e. eGovernment, eBusiness, creates the need for instantiating and enhancing the generic SWS descriptions and tools with domain specific semantics. Therefore, domain specific models and customized tools that allow this integration should be developed.??The WSMO-PA Service Editor is an effort made towards this direction as a specialised SWS editor with a friendly user interface which facilitates the creation of semantically-enhanced descriptions for public administration (PA) services. To achieve this domain customization, the WSMO-PA Service Editor uses a generic SWS editor (WSMO Studio), concepts from PA domain models (GEA PA Service Model), the WSMO-PA specification and the WSMO/F/L Framework.
