3-D affine moment invariants are derived in a convenient way in this paper. The property of volume of a tetrahedron is studied first under affine transformation. 3-D affine moment invariants are constructed then by the multiple integrals of the combinations of this kind of geometric primitive. Numerical experiments of deformed models are conducted to certificate the invariance of the new 3-D affine moment invariants given in this paper.
