Recently, we need high bit rate transmissions of the wireless LAN to access the internet at offices and houses. Multi-Poll access scheme has been proposed as an efficient access control scheme for these necessities. The scheme is a central control scheme using Polling system. In order to establish a high speed multimedia transmission, we need to integrate the required quality of services effectively. In this paper, we propose QoS (Quality of Service) guaranteed Multi-Poll access scheme for multimedia services in wireless LAN. We evaluate the transmission performances of the proposed scheme for effectiveness by computer simulations.

We have clarified that the proposed scheme has the outstanding performances on the throughput, delay time, and frame drop rate comparing to the conventional scheme.
