Tunable Universal OTA?C Frequency Filter Design Using Signal?Flow Graphs

This article deals with OTA–C frequency filter design using the Mason–Coates signal–flow graphs. The procedure of universal circuit design that can realize low–pass, high–pass, band–pass, band–rejection and all–pass frequency filters working in the current mode as well in the voltage mode is shown. The cut–off frequency and quality factor of the frequency filters can be controlled independently. Controlling the circuit is realized by changing the transconductance of the OTA amplifiers used.
