Our work is concerned with methodological issues against the interoperability of network components and services. We propose the design of a platform based of the CORBA technology, for experimenting service interoperability. The generic feature of the proposed middleware layer enables its reusability for the experimentation of various types of service implementations. The ITU Telecommunication Standard, Q.2110 is studied in the paper to illustrate the work.
