In this paper we have considered some biological cells system as compartmental models, which are to be investigated by using methods of network of queue. Queuing networks have been successfully used on performance modeling of computer and communication systems. In addition, we consider the problem of controlling the transition of cells from a compartment to another compartment depending upon the number of cells at the time of transition. By using Waldian methods in sequential analysis, we have obtained an optimal policy in controlling cell transitions under various types of treatments. Some numerical results are presented for the care of geometric type transition probabilities.
Index Terms:
