The pitch has some ambiguity as other features of speech. In this paper, a method for pitch extraction with fuzzy computation is presented. Besides a pitch period, a quantity representing confidence to whether a frame of speech signal is voiced or unvoiced is given together. It is adequate to the recognition of Four- Tone feature, which is specific and important for Chinese.
