A Neuro-fuzzy and digital FIR filtering approach for denoising in power system measurement and control is presented in this paper. The signal is denoised via two processes. First, the signal is denoised based on fuzzy neural network filtering algorithms, and then the signal is once again denoised using digital FIR filtering methods. The simulation tests carried out in Matlab show much better results of denoising using Fuzzy-Neuro and digital FIR filtering approach than using one of them only. The proposed method also shows vely good advantages for both static signals and transient signals.
