Large high-resolution displays have been widely applied in various applications, such as entertainment, scientific visualization, high-fidelity collaborative environments, etc. A popular way to realize such displays is to tile multi-projector together to construct one large size display. In this paper, a low-cost multi-projector seamless tiled display system is constructed using commodity hardware and two-pass rendering technology for the marine simulator. The main technological problems of the display system are discussed, including geometry distortion adjustment and edge blending. Experimental results in marine simulator show that this framework is very cost-effective.
