10th IEEE High Assurance Systems Engineering Symposium (HASE'07)
Dallas, Texas, USA
November 14-November 16
ISBN: 0-7695-3043-5

It is desired that the user of a Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) framework is capable of efficiently integrating and managing the resources distributed over heterogeneous platforms.

This paper proposes a modern Web services-based MDO framework that enables the synthesis of available disciplinary and cross-disciplinary resources for MDO via the Globus Toolkit. A Web, an open and dynamic environment, accentuates a need for the design of high-assurance MDO framework with high degree of reliability, safety, and security.
