Quality clearly is a team issue and endeavors to improve quality have to capitalize on each individual and each team's unique strengths. Agile software development successfully practices quality improvement by encouraging self-organization within an empowered team. Regular team reflection workshops provide feedback to improve quality and to adapt to new challenges as they arise. In this paper we reflect on our experiences from a quality improvement workshop in an agile project. We describe the selected approach and discuss the effects of the workshop on the team and its readiness to self-organize.
