Degradation of Humic Acid by TiO2 Nonutubes/UV/O3
Wuhan, China
July 04-July 05
ISBN: 978-0-7695-3682-8
Titanium dioxide nanotubes were prepared and used as catalyzers for titanium dioxide nanotubes/UV/O3 to degrade humic acid. And the optimal parameters of titanium dioxide nanotubes/UV/O3 were investigated. The combined treatment showed the synergetic effect of photocatalysis and ozonation. When calcined at 400 °C, titanium dioxide nanotubes had the best catalysis for photocatalytic ozonation. With a view of TOC removal and treatment cost, the best degradation of humic acid by titanium dioxide nanotubes/UV/O3 was obtained to 80.12% under the optimal condition, which was the reaction temperature of 30 °C, pH value of 8.5-10.7, titanium dioxide nanotubes dosage of 0.4 g/L, ozone dosage of 0.383 g/h and light intensity of 0.62 mW/cm2.
