Web Service technologies and Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs) are gaining momentum in the context of Grid Computing infrastructure design and development. In this paper 1 we present such a SOA for the composition and execution of Multidisciplinary Simulation Models exposed as stateful WSRF Web Services. We introduce an XML Schema that simplifies the manifestation of the data meshes typically produced or consumed by simulation models. We demonstrate how simulations are composed using a dataoriented approach and how the resultant workflows can be choreographed with the usage of notifications. Finally, we present a simulation composition and execution scenario.
