This paper describes an emotion recognition system based on human biosignal patterns. The emotion recognition system can recognize a user's emotional status by analyzing ECG signals. The system utilizes five basic signal values to predict the emotion patterns of the user: P, Q, R, S, and T. It consists of two processes: the Supervised Algorithm-based Pattern Analyzer and the Human Emotion Analyzer. To recognize the user’s ECG signal patterns, K-meansbased EM algorithm is applied.
