The main goal of this paper is to present the SpecView tool, stressing its usefulness for the reengineering of system specifications. It is described how the SpecView can be applied in situations wherein the system has to be reengineered to the (almost) same requirements, but the company is interested to specify and document the requirements in a different method or technique. The characteristics of the tool are described and the results obtained in the reengineering of a Traffic Monitoring/Light Controlling System are presented.
