IM (instant messaging) is an important method which actualizes management of enterprise's information, strengthens the public communication and structures real-time enterprises. In this paper, we discuss exchange problem which has existed in every part of print at present, and analyze the reason causing the problem. According to the characteristic of the printing trade, a set of instant communication system RTE (real-time exchange) is structured and works with ERP. It solved problems which had been in the printing trade such as exchanging difficult, cooperating badly and low working efficiency. This RTE system has been put in practice in one printing enterprise successfully. It has good real-time interaction, security and expansibility.
