Due to the rapid expansion of applications of information technology, the demands for various software systems, both packaged and customized, have continued to increase. The increase in this business has created enormous opportunities for entrepreneurship activities in software industry. The three panelists have personally participated in creating start-up companies, served as consultants for incubators and acceleration laboratories, as well as advisors for venture capital companies in the software area. During the first half of this session, each of the panelists will discuss their experiences, factors for successes and failures in various environments with different cultures as well as their visions. They will also present their perspectives on the future in this area. The second half of this session will open the discussion to the floor.
