This paper discusses the experience on using a multiple perspective approach to promote the reuse of software process models. The proposed paradigm relies on the definition of a set of independently defined dimensions that constitute the building blocks for process model composition. An algebraically specified model was used to derive a Java-based prototype, which was used to evaluate its feasibility with standard literature-described and domain-specific process examples. The results are discussed and highlight needs for future research in this topic.
