Mobile transaction management, even in a high quality networks nowadays, possesses some intrinsic characterestics, such as high blocking rate and high probability of thrashing caused by the instability of bandwidth and mobility of users. ASGT (Active Serialization Graph Technique), a new scheme developed accordingly, brings about a very low blocking rate and can abort predicted transactions involved in non-serializable scheduling. In addition, ASGT is adaptive to be integrated with an aborting method, called MWDL, to improve the performance and to reduce the scheduling cost.
