In this paper, we examine the end-to-end performance of for Internet DTV and analyze the difficulties of network DTV programs multicast. Then we propose two end system-based multicast sending rate control algorithms, Buffer-based Network-adaptive Multicast Rate Control approach (BNMRC) and Improved TFMCC based Sending Rate Control (ITSRC), both of which can suit for the change of network traffic and satisfy the requirement of DTV decoder by controlling sending rate logically. The test results show that they have good practical value in comparison with existing TFMCC.
