Providing integrated access to multiple, distributed, heterogeneous databases has become very important. Smalltalk can be used to achieve such an objectivity since Smalltalk can provide tools to connect commercial databases like Oracle and Sybase. We also developed tools to connect open source databases like PostgreSQL. Using these tools, data from multiple heterogenous databases can be extracted and mapped into objects in Smalltalk, where their syntactical and semantical conflicts can be resolved by object deputy model. An object deputy language is designed based on object deputy algebra and its compiler has been implemented in Smalltalk. In order to facilitate the use of object deputy language for data integration, we implemented an object deputy browser in Smalltalk.
