This paper describes a new mechanism for the discovery of more efficient routing path in mobile multicast. When mobile node (MN) moves to other foreign network, and it doesn't support multicast service, Multicast Router Discovery (MRD) mechanism enables MN to be forwarded multicast packets through using the efficient routing path. Even though multicast router doesn?t operate due to any problem, MRD mechanism enables multicast service to be supported on its network. Also, this paper describes a mechanism for the reduction of join latency due to re-subscription to multicast group.
