Summary form only given. Managing data is very critical in the wireless environment. Through the use of broadcast, data may be retrieved by wireless users in an efficient manner. In this paper, we classify broadcast systems and present a comparison of previously proposed broadcast models. We present this classification not only to facilitate evaluation of any proposed broadcast technique, but also to allow the selection of the optimal model according to the inherent properties and unique characteristics of the broadcast environment.
