18th IEEE VLSI Test Symposium (VTS'00)
Montreal, Canada
April 30-May 04
ISBN: 0-7695-0613-5

A. Ivanov, University of British Columbia
Today, new test tool ideas are emerging from existing and numerous startup EDA companies. Projected design methodologies and fabrication technologies will tend to dictate which EDA solutions are critical rather than just helpful or “cool”. Panelists will be asked to formulate short-term (2 years) and longer term (IO years) “wish lists” for EDA test tools and propose rationale for their choices, especially understanding the constraint of limited resources for tool R&D and purchase.
