Before the era of information and communication technology society, both of a company, a university, and a sight-seeing city could keep their benefits with aids of an intellectual property law system and of physical barrier. Now, contents of a university or a sightseeing city, e.g. lecture notes or pictures of cultural assets can easily flow through Internet. Also results of intellectual activity, e.g. patented inventions can freely flow and be able to be realized after the time limit of patent protection. Usage of a brand is a powerful method to keep benefits in such an environment. If they could take advantage of using brand efficiently, free flows of those intellectual results throuth Internet could assist to increase benefits.
