Dan Mihai, University of Craiova
The paper deals with the implementation a fuzzy logic controller for a fast electrical drive system using a low-cost microcontroller. Thereby a careful research is made both for an appropriate off-line conditioning problem as for an on-line optimal management of the target processor resources. Many considerations concern original control principles and an interrupts based algorithm, computation effort reduction keeping a high motion resolution and experimental data. Many models and simulations give reasons for the best solution choice. The author proves, finally by experiment, that fuzzy logic is able to lead to some unexpected results in accuracy.
