Planar mapping approach for generating intermediate views is presented. Whereas most existing mapping procedure employ matching and/or point-patching strategies, the proposed method is based on transformation of moments using a factorization formulation. The extended factorization method makes it possible to obtain shape parameters with planar surfaces. The technique is applied to map the texture of an object with many surfaces as an demonstration of its utility.
