A novel method of blind image restoration based on sparse code shrinkage and ICA algorithms is presented in this paper. In the Sparse Code Shrinkage method by Hyvarinen, ICA-like algorithm is used to remove gaussian noise in natural images. And we can also assume that the pixels in blocks of images are independent nongaussian random variables. Thus an ICA algorithm can be applied to do deblurring. The method is tested to be useful in both synthesized images and natural images.
