This paper describes a system built for wearable computer and mixed reality applications that applies natural human computer interaction using a pen interface. The pen is fitted with hardware micro-accelerometers and interacts wirelessly with the host computer. This system is used to draw on a digital paper with digital ink and virtual objects. The tracking problem is solved using both inertial and visual methods.
